Hi there, I have a CE scheme job in Athenry and I live in Ballinasloe. I have to travel to and from Athenry 3 times a week. Obviously the best road to take is the M6 motorway but I'm wondering what's the most cost effective way to get through the toll gate.
Do I just keep handing over the €1.90 at the toll gate or are there any savings to be made by getting a tag?
I see there's a '20 Trip Prepay Card' available from N6 Concessions themselves, would this be the best value?
    Thanks.

    This too shall pass.

A bit hard to follow but from what I can see, none of the tags offer discounts for continuous use of the M6, just the M50. All that can be gained is access to the express lane for an administration fee.
I'll take the Trip card so.

    This too shall pass.

Correct, you only get discounts on the M50 toll.

    Is the train an option?

Fraid not, need to be in work for 8am. Earliest west bound train arrives in Athenry at 8:15.
N6's Trip card isn't a bad option, while it doesn't allow access to the express lane it can be used in the basket lanes so that will save me a potential queue and it's 10% cheaper which equates to 2 free passes.

    This too shall pass.
