    evening!

i'm heading to la plagne on march 8th and want to upgrade my goggles this year. i currrently have a pair of sinner transformers with prescription inserts, want to step up significantly!

so what i'm looking for is...
    - really good quality goggles (say budget 150ish)
    - well ventilated as will likely wear glasses inside them, don't want fogging
    - preferably with a lens that adapts well to changing light
    - suits a narrowish face!

the changing light point i'm not sure on - do you guys recommend getting modulators or better quality lenses specific for low light etc?

Oakley, crowbar, splice a frame whichever fits your face, interchangeable lenses but if you only want on Pink Iridium or a blue tinted lense will be the best all round options

Salomon do some really nice goggles now (vested interest) but both my dad and wife wear them and they will come in on your budget

thanks fattes - 2 or 3 more questions!

is snow and rock the best place to buy in dublin?

and...carrying spare lenses with me during the day, they're likely gonna be too big to fit safely in a side pocket right?

and and and if buying more than 1 lens rather than 1 one size fits all, what is best for low light, what for bright sunshine?

I got some from eyewearoutlet.co.uk a couple of weeks ago. Last seasons colours, but really good discounts on them.

FWIW I used rxsport.co.uk to buy Oakley Splice - came in a good bit cheaper than buying on Oakley's own website. Also, as part of a different query I had, Oakley confirmed that RX Sport are authorised Oakley stockists and genuine.

Free shipping with Oakley direct though.

Just checked out that website, some very good prices. Are they reputable/legit ?

Yup, I got 2 pairs off them in the last couple of weeks (one for me and one for the other half)

Glos10 should get you 10% off (was working a couple of weeks ago)
