Looking into the airtight membrane in the attic and around the windows. My first question is if anyone here has used the following suppliers (Ampack / Siga / ProClima / Baunativ).

Also, we have a converted attic space, I would like to complete the airtight envelope by running it to the wallplate but worried that it results in alot of breaks and joins (taping) where the rafters meet the struts. Anyone been through the process or have any pics ?

With the exception of large, national or multi-national businesses who really don’t need the free advertising , posts naming specific companies/traders and/or their products are discouraged and may be deleted and the poster warned or banned or both.
would you mind taking out the brand names please

IMO the a 'superior product' with these types of products is the one with the longest guarantee

Edited the original post as I'd just like to know how I can complete the attic space.

When you say you converted the attic space, is it converted at the moment or have just the exposed rafters/struts etc to work with?

its a new build, rafters and struts exposed now with timber struts in place for each of the rooms.

I've used one of the four and would recommend it. To suit the forum charter, I'm afraid you will have to guess which one it is...
    Hope that helps :D

About the membrane to cross the roof structure, yes, you'll have a lot of joints and tape to do. But nothing impossible. Take your time , this is a part that asks precision . It takes a good amount of tape, though , so plan this as well.
A good tip is to sand smooth the area where you stick the tape. Roof timber is rough, the tape will stick better if it's sanded. A bit of blow-gun if you have a compressor, or hoover to get rid of the dust is a plus.
See picture, it's not my house, but similar, the tape is not in place yet.

PS : about the brand of the membrane, feel free to PM me ;)
