Something stuck in Driver Door Lock - Corolla 04

    Hi,

    Something is stuck in my Drivers Door lock. It looks like the little piece of metal that would normally move back as you put the key in has fallen off. I am able to turn the key to the right to lock the car but cannot open it from the Drivers side ie unable to turn left.

    Is it possible to remove the Lock from the inside of the door and if it is would this is a DIY job to take off the lock and remove the piece or metal?
