I'm looking for some student feedback on the Environment, Society & Development MA and the Rural Sustainability MA from anybody currently on these courses, or those who have completed either.

I need some advice on writing the personal statement. Is it advisable to get in touch with a course staff member to ask them what they are looking for? Any information on the application process ... references, transcripts, personal statement etc.
I have yet to complete my undergraduate degree. What is the mix of students like on the course?
What is the coursework load like? Would it be manageable to hold down a weekend job for the first semester?

Any information on the experience of doing these postgrads would be great, and will help make up my mind whether I want to apply.
The course webpage is fairly basic for both.
    Thank you.
