Just looking to switch from Eircom Adsl to Vodafone Fibre broadband. Out of contract with Eircom, just wondering will the ask for the router back?

Also, are Eircom still charging a cancellation fee?

If you're out of contract, there's no cancellation fee. Not entirely sure if you've to give 30 days notice though.
They won't ask for the router back. Though if you're going to be changing to a Fibre package, you'll get a new router.

Pretty much want Roast said, but I would give them the 30 days notice anyway because I've heard of people being punished for leaving ever since Sky joined the market.
