All of a sudden, lipping out, short, long, left, right.
I suspect its physical but slowly creeping into the realm of psychological. I'd like to ask if anyone has a bandaid for me? Or a series of them.
    thanks

I read Dr. Bobs Putting Out Of Your Mind over Xmas. Played my first round of the year yesterday and had 27 putts (30 if you count putting from off the green? I'm not sure) and zero 3 putts. Pretty sure it's the first time I've played 18 and not 3 putted

Obviously without seeing your putting stroke, can't be sure but this is two things that work for me ::

1.) Head down and kept still right through the strike of the putt.

Went through a similar problem myself last year and I was simply moving on the putt, lifting my head a fraction quick and thus throwing my body out of position. Keep the head down through the impact and hopefully results will improve.

A good thing to help you keep your head down is when marking and replacing the ball, make sure the number of the ball is at the top, so you are looking at it. Focuses you to keep your head down that little bit if you're staring at that as you putt.

2.) Secondly would be to try and keep your putter head low to the ground as you are putting. On your backstroke, you could be raising the putter too high off the ground and thus causing inconsistency when you come back through.

    Hope these help :D

Supposedly Colin Montgomery when at his peak (and he was a pretty hot putter then) would hit 100 1-foot putts at the end of his putting practice. So he finished by making 100 consecutive putts & walked into the course with that in mind.

I wouldn't say I go that far myself but I do like to make about 30 Putts from 1-3 feet before I go out & it does make you feel a lot more comfortable when you walk up to one on the course
