Printing on college network with OSX

Anyone able to do it? I followed the instructions here but whenever I try and print I get a network communication error or somesuch. Not trying to be funny, but my link is more recent than yours (January 2014 vs May 2013), so I'm hoping that OSX network printing has become available and I'm just too dim to figure it out quite yet.
