Loan to buy property in Ireland

    Hi all,
I am thinking of buying a house or some land back in Ireland, I have been here a couple of years now and have some savings between Ireland and here. I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with getting loans back in Ireland although there working abroad. I'm talking around the 100000 euro. I would presume the Australian lenders would not be interested. So I would think maybe a credit union or an Irish lender would be my only chance.
    All thoughts are appreciated.
    Regards!

I wanted to buy a car a few years ago (Was on WHV) so i called the finance people in Perth and they said no due to my visa and then i called my bank back in Ireland who between fits of laughter also said no. Rock + Hard place
