Changing from top dentures to implants

After years of wearing a top denture plate with nine teeth attached, I'm contemplating the feasability of having implants.

I'm in my late fifties so I'm wondering if age is an issue?

If it's feasible to have nine implants, what would a very ballpark cost estimate be?

I am just starting my research and this forum is the starting spot (today) so any informed advice is welcome. Thanks.

Do you have any of your own teeth holding that upper denture. If so, they may be compromised too or it may not be sensible to work around them as the end result may be compromised aesthetically...
Look into implant hybrid restorations. It's basically a horseshoe shape metal acrylic set of teeth screwed to the implants. You can have 4-8 implants to hold this in place, it really depends on you and your bone etc.....
An upper hybrid on 6 implants would be €12/13k approx.....
You most likely don't need nine implants!!
