    Hi there

Is there anywhere that compares the different comprehensive benefits included in insurance providers comprehensive insurance policies ?

e.g. Breakdown assist, Overnight accommodation, windscreen cover e.t.c

    for e.g. axa.ie, 123.ie (RSA), chill.ie(AIG), aviva

    Thanks,
    Johnny

The OP wants to know who gives the best cover:price ratio, not who is the cheapest.

Cover wise you're probably looking at Zurich and Allianz. You'll have to get a pen, paper and phone to get everything compared.

Recently switched to AA. Policy under written by Axa who I left and couldn't touch the AA price. No claims protected for €30 extra but comes with a pile of extras worth checking out, including fire engine cost and wrong fuel!
Not as cheap as other prices quoted here but hopefully thats cos of my personal circumstances, 30 yr old male.

BTW, just re read your op. I don't think any site compares policy benefits. Probably down to the non standard description by each company of what is basically the same thing. Hopefully all these posts helped though.

Insurance only gets you through a checkpoint...it's all baloney !

    Hi all

Thanks for replies... Yep not looking for who is cheapest but best cover. Have my quotes of each company for 2014 insurance and going to make a decision based on $$ versus cover benefits shortly.

I think it must be standard best practice to change your insurance every year as I constantly get quoted cheaper by moving. Not sure of anyone else's experience.

Saying that its not all baloney, as my Audi A6 got nicked from my house few years back and needed the payout ;)

    Thanks for the replies !!

    Cheers

I've done a lot of research into the policies.
    I have Allianz Drivemaster
Fully comp with open drive for anyone over 25, and it covers me fully comp on other cars
Good cover for personal items and legal costs.
Oh yeah, they cover mods too :)
