    BOO WILLIAMS
Born July 20, 1967 in Chicago, Boo Williams has been a part of the city’s house music entourage since 1981. This was when he first stepped up to the turntables and started DJing. Later on in the 1990’s, Boo began production and then later remixing in ‘93. He started out parting on the city’s south side soon introduced to Glenn Underground.

Anyone who's read through the weighty account of Chicago's House Music history will know all about the legendary figure that is Boo Williams. Having been hugely influenced by, Ron Hardy who is widely described as "the only man who can test Frankie Knuckles' status as Godfather of Chicago House Music." As well as taking influence from the originators of the scene, Williams himself is cited as being part of of the second wave of producers leading the Windy City's movement in the heat of the mid to late nineties along with the likes of Gemini, Derrick Carter, Paul Johnson and most fundamentally, Glenn Underground. It was Glenn after all, that first got him into producing after meeting at the formative parties in Chicago hosted by Lil' Louis way back when he was harboring a historical rave culture and just when Boo was starting to build a reputation for himself and is still doing victoriously to this day.

Just pick up a copy of the simply outstanding production of Williams' '98 release 'Mortal Trance' and play it next to some of his latest output for Rush Hour and Contemporary Scarecrow and you'll find that it still sounds as fresh as ever.

    RIPPERTON
Ripperton was born in the 70's, one of the most exciting times in music, which would explain his passion for soul music, his 12 inch vinyl collection which knows no bounds and his nickname, (think of one of the best female soul singers of that time). He gained outstanding popularity with his project Lazy Fat People that was signed to labels like Border Community, Wagon Repair and Carl Craig's Planet E, as well as new successes as a solo artist known as Ripperton.
Aka Ripperton, he's enjoyed working in the studio with fellow Swiss producers, such as Sthlm Audio and Plak Records. He's also released tracks on MusicMan, Green, CLR, Systematic , Liebe Detail, Connaisseur, Caravan, Dessous and many more top labels, and delivered remixes for Ellen Allien, Jimspter, Laurent Garnier, Beanfield and the exceptional Radiohead. Very popular with artists such as Steve Bug, Carl Craig, James Holden, Apparat, Osunlade, Joris Voorn in their compilations over the last few years. In 2006 he started the well-known underground label, Perspectiv Records, which brought out
some fresh talent from Switzerland and around the world and nurtured some interesting interactions with amazing producer like Tobias, DJ Koze, John Daly and Isolée, all highly respected by Raphaël. His long-awaited LP was out early 2010. Called "Niwa", this modern piece of music mixes different kinds of sounds from varied horizons and was released on the Dutch 'Green' label owned by friends Joris Voorn & Edwin Oosterwal. In 2011 he teams up with Deetron on a new project and works on his new album coming soon. Touring around the world the last decade, Ripperton spins the melodic and lush end of House, Minimal & Techno. Definitively one of the most creative Swiss DJs of today, Ripperton is a perfect
    electronic music chameleon.
