Who do we think will be best actor? I feel this is the most open category and would be worthy of a poll, whereas alot of the rest are fairly predictable.

Have only seen Wolf of Wall Street so can't comment on the other's performances but would love it to finally be Leo's year. I don't think it will be unfortunately (again) but when he does win it'll be a "career" Oscar I think.

Have heard only positive reviews for McConaghey so I think he'll get it this year.

I want Leo to win but think Dern or McConaughey will take it

I voted Di Caprio because I haven't seen Nebraska yet. If I have a fiver in my pocket and the odds are good I'm going to back bruce Dern though.

Keep your money in your pocket. Momentum is building behind mcconaughey now it seems. Golden globe, critics choice. SAGs on sunday night will prob be last chance for someone else to get some kind of boost. I thought chewitel was a shoe in til I saw dallas buyers club.no contest even though they are the front runners in betting. Leo the only real threat from the others it seems based on prices. Hopefully get a chance to see wolf and nebraska shortly to have better iinformed view.

Thanks...I'll watch DBC tonight or tomorrow. I'm itching to see Nebraska though. Just watched Woody kissing Sam in Cheers, Classic. Reminds me why Bale won't get the Oscar - even when he's phoning it in, Woody could outact the model any day of the week.
