Hi, The downpipes on my varadero are abit crappy looking but working perfect. I had thought of heat wrap and maybe just putting a small bit around it might make it look abit better, I'm not too up to date with heat wrap and was just wondering if any of you had any advice or opinions.
    Thanks.
    Mike

If your pipes are looking shoddy, pipe wrap will clean them up all right...be aware though, pipe wrap retains moisture & will eventually corrode the downpipes.

Also pipe wrap retains heat at the exhaust inlets & over time makes the material brittle.

I had a set of wrapped downpipes on an old Ironhead snap at the exhaust ports & drop off the bike while hammering down the motorway

Try some UHT exhaust paint maybe if it's just cleaner looking pipes you're after ;)
