cancel contract cannot access account

    Ok so I got a new sky box deal sometime last year and want to check how long I have left on it.
    My problem is that I have forgotten (or do not have) my account name and password, so I cannot access my account online, using all my usual details and variations thereof.
    Does this mean I have to go down the dreaded call centre route, and if I am out of contract (eircom tv beckons) whats the easiest way to tackle this.
