Home made pasta sauce

    Hi,

    I've got a jar of passata, onions, garlic, peppers, courgettes and chilli.
    (no tomato puree).

    Can I make a quick tomato sauce for pasta with these ingredients?

    Seems like you have all you need really: Quickest way would be to just sweat the onions and garlic, then add the peppers, courgettes and chilli, give it all a minute or two, then add the passata and let it bubble away for a bit. Season it with salt, pepper, a pinch of sugar und whatever dried herbs you might have such as basil, oregano, thyme or the like.
