CPU upgrade worth it?

Hi, just a few questions about upgrading, I'm using this PC now (PC now details attached), I did some upgrades but didn't change the CPU yet

My main question is how much difference would I get from changing to an i5 4670k for gaming (Skyrim, Minecraft, BF3), I can get 50-60fps on Skyrim on high at 1080p now

I'd be changing the CPU, Motherboard, Ram, Cooler and Case at the same time

I'm not sure if I should do it now or is it worth keeping my PC as it is and wait for Broadwell which could be around a year?

If I changed now and then used the remaining parts & buy a PSU and DVD to make a new PC and sold it as this (PC to sell details attached), how much would it be worth?

And then same question as above but if I waited the extra year how much would it be worth then?

I know this is a complicated question but I'd really appreciate your help
    Thanks.

Sounds like you're getting pretty good framerates as-is. I don't think it's worth upgrading all those components just for a 10FPS increase in Skyrim to get you up to a solid 60.

That said, this gives you an idea of what sort of difference it might make.

Any more advice as I'm wondering what about the benchmark scores

I had a look on cpubenchmark and my CPU scores 3282 points
    http://www.cpubenchmark.net/cpu.php?cpu=AMD+Athlon+II+X4+635

while the i5 4670k scores 7700, over double what my one gets, wouldn't that be a huge difference in performance?
    http://www.cpubenchmark.net/cpu.php?cpu=Intel+Core+i5-4670K+%40+3.40GHz

And out of interest how much would the PC in the second pic be worth?

There would be a huge difference in certain games. Skyrim isn't too bad on CPU's, other games would show massive disparity.

Is it worth the upgrade? Not immediately, if you're only playing those games listed, but if you've your eye on other new titles, BF4 as an example, an upgrade is well worth it. Even going from an fx6300 to a 4670K I saw a massive increase in BF4, and that's a good bit faster than that old X4.

    Thanks for the replies,
I'm still playing games a couple of years old so it would take me a while to catch up to the newer games, I might just wait and upgrade when Broadwell is out
