You've never changed your opinion on something over the course of 2-3 years?

I have, but I've often explained why I have changed my opinion. From what I read, it looks like the USI have made an effort to make their original opinion disappear without reason. They could atleast explain their move.

You know how long college lasts and what the make-up of the SUs are? There's a lot of turnover.

I certainly have no love for student politicians but in this case, I would guess some naïveté when the scheme was first introduced followed by how it's been implemented (like, oh, I don't know, requiring a Ph.D. for an internship) and reports from their friends who have left college might have seen the reality of the scheme set-in.
Or, you could read the statement in the link you provided in your first post, it has a nice summary.

So an organisation that changes leadership regularly has changed it's position on something that a scheme that was sold as one thing and delivered as another, over the space of 3 years? All the while orchestrating a dastardly coverup which might be adequately expected by them moving websites in the interim and not properly archiving the old press releases? What bastards.

If you want to manufacture some outrage, Twitter's your only man.

USI where politicians are made and strangely act like politicians. You want to know why politicians are corrupt they are allowed away with it when in the student unions. College politics are always worth paying attention to for this reason

I liked the idea of Jobsbridge in the beginning, it was a great idea for helping get jobs for graduates who often have a hard time getting their first bit of experience. But it was never implemented the way it was supposed to be so I have since changed my mind on it. The way it's implemented now is not working and may actually be costing real jobs.

You mean like the head of the TCDSU cheating in an exam and getting away with it both academically and politically? You cynic.
