App to find location of phone

I want an app for my Android Sony J phone where I can locate a mobile number, I want to be able ensure my daughter is where she says she is tbh as had few issue's, also prefer if she does not know about the app, tks

Unless you can manage to install something on her phone to keep track of her whereabouts, I can't imagine there is anyway that another app will allow you to locate her at any time without her knowledge.

Chances are it already has a native app that can locate phone (kinda like that Find my iphone that comes pre-installed).

You need a google account.
The crux is that if she already has a google account tied to the phone it may be tricky.

In that case there's other apps you can use. How old is she? Is she technical?

You need a google account.

Unless she has the google account/password details of her daughter she can't use that though.

both can be hidden from the app drawer so it wont show up on the phone but you'll need to have access to the phone to install it...

Its a tricky one to manage, there might be a big fuss if she discovered the tracking app on her phone.

Which is going to happen sooner or later, depending on how founded your concerns are.

Even if she's a minor she will feel this as an invasion/a statement that you don't trust her. Which perhaps you don't or can't. But you're going to precipitate a big row.
