How long are JSA payments kept in post office?

I was told by SW that it was three days including the day of issue i.e. available Tues/Weds,/Thurs or Fri/Mon/Tue, but have heard there is a cut-off point on the final day that comes before closing hours (5.30 or whenever it is), is there any truth in this?

AFAIK, no.
It is three days from the date issued till closing time.
