Is there any way to change my settings so that when I open a thread that it opens on the most recent post?

On the touch site, when signed in you should be automatically taken to the next unread post.

On the full site, if you click the arrow under the thread title, this will take you to the next unread post. If you just want to go to the latest (last) post, click on the arrow beside the last posters name to get to their post.

I hope that answers your question :)

Yep that's what I was looking for thanks! Only switched to the new interface yesterday. Been using the old Boards Beta skin and I found that the forum bar at the top wasn't getting updated with new forums and the post of the day link was stuck on something from last year?

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
