Ali Express

I ordered goods through Ali Express in November and I still have not received them despite having paid in full. I have tried contacting the seller numerous times but still no reply. The order is marked as finished despite the fact that I did not confirm receipt of the goods. Because it is marked as finished I cannot find an option to open a dispute or register a complaint. I've tried using the Live chat facility but it won't load. It's the first time I used Ali Express and am not familiar with the procedures. It's only $22 but I'm annoyed all the same. Any advice anyone ?

Find then tracking number and enter it on www.17track.net - this will let you know if item has been shipped.

I bought a small item in October and it arrived the 10th January

Thanks for that link but unfortunately no record of my transaction showed up. I also tried using the Chinese Post Office tracking facility and the An Post one. No luck there either. It's really annoying that the seller won't respond although judging by the length of time your delivery took maybe mine will show up eventually

You should be able to open a dispute or request to extend the delivery date .

I can't find the option to do this because the order is marked as completed by the seller. I've emailed Ali Express, hopefully they will come back to me.

The seller can't mark the order as completed.

When you have an active order, on your AliExpress account page under "my orders" it will have a count down of X days, X hours etc for the order to be delivered. After this time AliExpress will automatically pay the seller unless you request to extend the delivery time or open a dispute.

How is the feedback on the seller ? As mentioned above, on odd occasions I have waited a very long time for some orders.

My order was marked as finished despite the fact that I sent a request to extend the delivery date. I did this before the proposed delivery date so it should have remained as a live order. Feedback looks ok though I just re-checked and the seller is relatively new. Still haven't heard from anyone  As I said it's only $22 but really annoying at this stage

I would ask you to post the tracking number here and we can check it for you , or if you don't want to do that , then :

Log in to Aliexpress - go to message centre - on the right hand side you will see an option to report seller to Ali .

And believe me , that if the seller has done something wrong , - he will be reprimanded quickly .

It's up to the seller to approve the extension to delivery date, not Ali Express.

The onus is/was on you to open a dispute before that time elapsed.

If their feedback is decent, and they seem to be still trading then maybe it will still turn up. As I mentioned above, some things take a ridiculous amount of time to arrive. Could you link to the seller's page on AE ?

    Here are the seller's details
Queen cosmetics co., LTD Store No.345075

    Here is my tracking number
    RB728714814CN

Cant see any info on that number anywhere . - but it does say on the website that after 60 days , the item will automatically be marked as completed , unless the buyer/seller requests further delivery time .

I bought an item on Ali on Nov 21st and it still has not arrived , but the seller extended the delivery date and there are 11 days left.

If it does not arrive , the I will request extra time or open dispute , which is still an option .

This is my tracking number : RB567315212CN

it gets bad reviews you have 60 days to do credit card dispute with your card company

from reviews don't expect to get a resolution they side with sellers always I would dispute with your credit card company first

Alibaba and Aliexpress are same company

Make sure to open a dispute before the time expires or it will automatically pay seller.

Good idea to message seller a bit before that to let them know it still hasn't arrived. I've used many sellers on there, and the couple of times there's been an issue they got sorted out ok.

That tracking number shows that it left China on 28th November, was it via China Post Air ?

Yes - Its China Post Air Mail

Yes - Its China Post Air Mail

China Post Air can be very slow in my experience, usually four weeks to me in Dublin, but it should certainly be here by now even allowing for Christmas.

It's not showing on An Post's site as received into Ireland, so at this stage I'd be contacting the seller again before that deadline delivery date.

In my case the seller has extended the delivery date by another 30 days .

So I have presently cancelled the dispute that I had opened .

Yes. Shipping can take an age. And as they are all individual sellers, make sure you check their feedback before purchasing.

going away last week in August so hopefully they get here. 100 and 97% feedback based on about 1500 reviews between them not bad!

You should do. Most orders will be about 4-6 weeks.

Im considering buying a phone from a sekler on this site, but weary from reading previous posts.. If the airmail says between 15-30 days dose it not have to be?

Is it possible to get your money back from your card company if it is a no show after mailing time?

It's Christmas time now (more-less), so 2 months of waiting is likely. :p

I ordered a pair of runners off here just to see if they were legit, they cost 24 quid so I wasn't too bothered about the risk,

then I got a letter of Customs saying my goods were detained for copywright breach

I place a refund request to the seller attaching the customs letter and the money was back in my account very quickly
