bit of a random question but I cant find anything online:

where is the Seabury terminus for the 102?
for some reason the 2nd and 3rd bus in the morning starts there instead of the airport.

im not familiar with the area so some vague description would be great! bus stop number would be even better :)

I dont think there is any waiting area, I think its just the stop on estuary road. So if you go to the shelter outside the church which is stop 3642. I think it starts one stop before it which is 3641 but not certain.

    Hi,

The first stop for the 102s that start in Seabury is Stop 3641. This would be known locally as the "Handy Shop" bus stop referring to the now closed shop that was there.

The ones that start there usually waiting there for a couple of minutes before the departure time.

Before the 102 was extended to dublin airport where abouts did the drivers actually turn the bus around there doesn't seem to be many places where they could turn the bus around

They did a loop - train station, Dublin Road, Swords Road, Estuary Road, Old Yellow Walls Road, Yellow Walls Road, Dublin Road, train station, Coast Road and on to Sutton.

Through Malahide, the 230 operated the same as the 102 does now.

The 102 timetable is inconsistent with that style of timetable as used by 17/84 (historically 33/65 also?).
If a service continues to Dublin Airport it should show the time* that it is timetabled to arrive.

    *actual time may vary

I use the Transport for Ireland App/Website to see when the 102 is due into the airport. It is pretty accurate for the experience I have had when travelling to the airport.

The 102 timetable is one of those strange ones that has the "departure" time from Seabury in both directions, but the bus doesn't wait for this time, it's merely a rough guidline.
