Seems to be a good run of interesting gulls turning up in the country at the moment. Ivory Gull down in Wexford and now a Ross's Gull in Dublin. There is also an increase in White winged gulls around the place as well. I presume this is all due to the recent storms. I wonder what may turn up next!!!!

I got both would you believe. I travelled for the Ivory but happened to be in town tis afternoon when I heard the Ross's gull was about. To get both in less than 3 days in Ireland is pretty spectacular

I'd love to see the Ross's gull, but won't be able to go to Dublin till Sunday 26th. He'll hardly stick till then:( Two mega High Artic birds in 3 days is unreal.

Ross's and Ivory from the north, Laughing from the west, Little Gulls from the east and now an Azorean Yellow-legged Gull from the south in Wexford - gulls love Ireland!

I managed to see the Caspian Gull in Tallaght the other day. So far this year I've seen the Ivory Gull,Ross's Gull,Laughing Gull numerous Glaucous and Iceland gulls as well as a few Kumlien's Gulls. It's been a super winter for rare gulls in the country.
