lol can't argue with that! Its normally DIY people more than business people doing it though I would think.

I was wondering has anyone used them, or any alternatives...cheaper, better etc.

Their client list on the website probably nails the quality question!

Yes, I saw the client list alright, impressive, but expensive on a budget. It's €537.00 for 2.5m x 5m. Not the cheapest paint in the world.

I was thinking we could just buy regular paint and permanent markers. We'll just paint over it when we're finished our meetings.

You must be up the walls!! ;)

You could buy a computer and add a 60 inch touch screen monitor and just use paint (the programme). It would save you having to repaint the wall after each meeting and would be pretty dam cool and you could pretend you were on Sky Sports.

Or you could go total old school and get one of those old fashioned projectors they used to use in schools.

Used it recently on a project. Expensive but no problem with it so far.
Painter just put it on wall instead of normal paint.

Smartwall paint is expensive stuff but it works great. I used it for a client and they were over the moon with it, was exactly what they needed. Just painted a section of the wall, a rectangle 12 feet long and five feet high. Repainted the surrounding area in a light green for contrast. As a white board it works perfectly, just make sure not to use permanent markers!
The key to getting a great finish is to prepare the wall well first. Make sure that all holes are filled and sanded etc and use a primer as your base coat. Zinnser do a water based primer that works well.
Heres a picture of the smart wall I painted
