I've a bit of a dilemma at the moment.

Looking at getting a new set of pedals, that will do me for both track and road.

I've narrowed it down to the two above, based on recommendations and my own research, but finding it hard to decide.

Has anyone used both and/or what are the genuine advantages of one over the other.

    Cheers!

I upgraded from max carbon to blade carbon. Benefits include a 8g saving, looks and a wider platform area. Downside include a lighter wallet and no spring adjustment.

Did you use the spring adjustment much?

I like the 16Nm ones precisely because the spring is so tight leaving less risk of inadvertantly clipping out. I also prefer the wider platform

No, but it is a downside if you ever did want to. I have no idea of how loose or tight you want the retention to be.
I have the yellow 12nm spring and it is perfectly secure for my modest power output.
