    Hi SherriffH..
Was googling and found your thread.. I am now organising a hen in Brighton and wondering if you have any tips? Did you go there in the end? Accommodation seems expensive..

    Hi Daisy Dalzer

Brighton was AMAZING - 100% recommend going for a hen party. We went last weekend, stayed in Travelodge Brighton Seafront the Saturday night accommodation was expensive but the Sunday night was cheaper, so it averaged out as decent. Its in a great location and would definitely recommend staying there. Ask for twin/disabled access rooms on the first floor - they are twice the size of the other rooms. We organised a club night for the Saturday, VIP Platinum Lounge in Shoosh Nightclub £500 between 16 of us - but this includes your vip area, drinks for the night, security and waitress service. And we went for dinner and karaoke on the Sunday night - went to a restaurant/bar called Dirty Blonde and it is fabulous and then to Lucky Voice karaoke to finish the weekend in style. We did a LOT of research and made the weekend perfect for our group (girly girls) everyone said they would go back again. We had the weather which made it even better during the day!

    Hello
Sorry for the slow response.. been really busy.. Our hen is actually this weekend.. leaving tomorrow.. We were looking for accommodation for ages and really wanted to keep costs down..
The apartments all seemed really expensive for a big group.. like it was looking like it was going to cost £100/ 110 each for just the apartment alone which was ridiculous and then food/drink etc would be extra.. The bride really wanted a low cost hen as so many people are travelling for the hen and/or wedding..
In the end we've gone with hostel accommodation-6 girls per room with a bathroom to share in each one.. working out very cheap ..
Majority of the gang are fairly low maintenance so hopefully we won't have too many grumbles!
Our hen price has worked out at £90/€115 for 2 nights hostel accommodation 2 3 course dinners in nice restaurants.. Hostel does continental breakfast as well but we'll probably go out to eat anyway..

@Daisy Dalzer, thanks a mil for that. We are still looking at one particular house, but its sooooo expensive so hostel could be good option. Have a great weekend-feel free to send on any other info after your weekend, that you think i would find useful! Enjoy :)

    Hello
Well we all survived the hen.. We stayed at Hostelpoint hostel overlooking Brighton Pier.. It was a bit run down but our dorm rooms were clean and great for getting the various groups of girls to mix! We had 3 6 bed dorms ensuite..
We went for dinner in Al Duomo on Friday which was lovely.. and Breeze Brassiere on Saturday... very happy with both restaurants.. We spent the afternoon playing games in the park, on the beach and on the pier..
Brighton has such a great party vibe to it.. We were all saying that we'd love to go back..
It was also really handy from Gatwick for the Irish contingent.. It took about 40 mins to get down on the train.. and tickets were very cheap..
