Sky broadband-when was yours activated?

    I've switched to sky for broadband, today is the activation day.

    I've plugged in everything and can pick up wireless signal but not connecting. Sky information says it can be activated anytime up to midnight.

    For Sky BB users here just wondering what stage of the day was yours ready to go?

    If its a regular line, usually it takes 7-10 working days to activate broadband after the voice services were switched over (which is usually 24-48 hours from initializing the port).

    Rang earlier. Says it's delayed until tomorrow due to Eircom being behind

    I noticed a fair few taking longer than the norm with Vodafone at the moment- all down to Eircom I'd imagine

    Sky rep said Eircom have fallen behind due to recent bad weather

    Fixing current lines will take precedence over jumpering new ones most likely. Dont hold your breadth op.

    my phone line is active but my sky hub has not been sent out yet, have tried to plug in an old modem but still not getting a signal DSL light is flashing looks like il hvae to wait!!
    I signed over tuesday night
