    Hi All
We have just bought a 1930s mid terraced old council house in North Dublin. We are looking for an idea as to what it would cost to chase the walls and rewire the entire house, (it's a 3 bedroom, living room, kitchen, and ensuite).

We plan on doing an extension in a year or so, so planning on knocking the old existing extension which is now the bathroom so not too bothered about that.

    Thanks in advance.

you don't need to murder tree's to access phone numbers these days :D .Pick a few electricians get quotes off them all and compare. Make sure they are all quoting for exactly the same spec job and materials you want used.

Could be anything from €4,000 up depending on many factors.
Without seeing it all anyone can do is take a wild guess.

Plenty of registered electrical contractors will give you a free quotation.
