Mods, sorry if in the wrong location, please move if you see fit.

    Has anybody joined this recently?

I recently got refused membership on the basis of qualifications and experience and looking to find out why.

I have a Level 7 Degree in Civil and Structural Engineering, BER Assesor qualified with various other courses such as health and safety, concrete detailing, Homebond Building Regulations Cert, on top of software quals for CAD, Adobe products etc etc etc

Worked in private practice for 7 years overseeing jobs ranging from small domestic extensions to refurbishment of state laboratories, to car show rooms to domestic refurbishments in excess of €1.2m each.

I wont say where i work exactly, but lets say that my job title is currently contained within the IBCI name! This is why i cant understand why i have been refused.

Theres no phone number so cannot contact anybody in there and emails go without reply for days on end.

    Is it even worth joining?
