Hi folks, I am going to look at a car in the next few days which has the N43 engine. From previous reading and searches this engine has come in for some criticism for being 'soft' and not that reliable. I am just trying to see if there is much foundation to these claims from other users here or whether it is a case of people making more noise because it is deemed a premium car which shouldn't encounter these issues at all. If it seems to be a genuine problem, is there anything I should look for on the service history to see if any particular work was done (I think coil packs were mentioned???). The car has about 80,000kms on the clock.
