My friends and I play the irishtimes fantasy six nations every year and thoroughly enjoy the banter and rivalry.

We always complain that the game is fairly simple though and is mainly focused on try scorers and not on overall player performance.

    Can anyone recommend any alternatives?

I just registered my team there and it looks like exactly the same scoring system as the times?

Thanks for the feedback. It does look the same alright. I played espn scrum fantasy for the autumn internationals this year and the only improvement I could see from the irishtimes game is that previously the scrum had no specific player types (for example you could have #4 number eights or #3 second rows) but this year you had to pick #3 front row players, #2 second rows, etc.

A slight improvement so that you can't just flood your scrum with try scoring number eights.

    Anyone else have any suggestions?

That's the only difference I noticed too when selecting my team earlier, and to be fair it is an improvement.
But definitely no points for overall performance.

ESPN would make you choose 3 FRs, 2 SRs etc. and IT seem to have gone that way. Same system and I imagine same company running both.

There is a Fox Sports Super XV one that looks different but I'm not sure how different. You have a budget, weekly transfers and so on.

Do the Irish times fantasy rugby, it's better, instead of having a budget you have a limit of any 3 players from each country.
So generally people do 3 Ireland 3 England 3 Wales 3 France 2 Scotland and Sergio Parisse!!!!
