I have my first learner permit under 6 months. My last lesson is next week and that will be all EDTs done, however you need your permit at least 6 months to apply for the test. This will bring me to the 1st of March. Can I apply in February and once my test date is in march is that okay? Or do I have to wait till March to apply for the test.

    Thanks.

You can apply in Feb but won't be put on the list until your 6 month date has passed.

The best option would be to apply now for a cancellation and when your 6 months are up you will get a date for about 2 weeks after.

My 6 months were up 26th December and I applied for a cancelation in November and received a date after the 26th for the 13th Jan. So I wasn't waiting long once the 6 months had passed

I applied a few days before my 6 months was up, they place you on hold until you have all the lessons complete and 6 months done, I called on that day and could literary have a appointment for the next day, winter is the best time to do your test as they have very little people going to do tests during the winter as I was told over the phone :-)
