More than happy getting it at 7s. Was surprised he was so well backed the time before last, looked a much stronger race. This by far his easiest opportunity, though still no shoe in. Expecting a small rule 4 when Tullamore Dew comes out

There's a horse in the following race, definite memories - I backed it last day and it won, it hadn't run in something like 600+ days and battled really well to win, I'd imagine shell strip fitter again and should go very close, her jumping the last day was fantastic...only 4 runners and I haven't a clue what her price will be but she left the impression with that she's a smart horse, she's still very unexposed

BETTING FORECAST: 11/8 Baby Shine, 2/1 Definite Memories, 9/4 Miss Milborne, 100/1 Flora Lea.

you have to be joking, fancying the mare definite memories. she broke down on both front legs and her limbs are glass. very big bounce candidate and strong chance she fails to finish.

Wasn't aware of her history, as I said above I was taken by her last run, the way she jumped, travelled and then fought out the finish after such a long lay off

A couple of nice races in Newbury tomorrow in fairness. I really like Dawalan in the first but i doubt he would be much of a price. Id probably be willing to go in at 9/10-10/11 + but i cant see that happening.
I would like to see an improved performance from Herons Heir on his hurdle debut in the 3rd but its not really a bet(i think that listed bumper that seven nation army won that he was down the field in is probably the best bumper contested in the UK this year).
For what its worth i imagine Brother Brian will probably take all the beating in this.
Other than that the hunter chase to end the card looks quite interesting and it would be dissapointing if Bold Addition and Foundry Square didnt fight out the finish. It looks a straight match. I suspect Bold Addition will be geared at the festival Hunter Chase and even though he does go well fresh he might find it hard to concede 8lb + the riders claim(who i have never heard of) so its a bit of a leap of faith considering Will Biddick is up on Bold Addition. He fell last time out when held in third behind Green Flag who has since franked the form no end. It was a shuddering fall and it might tell. But the way the prices are looking if he goes anywhere near 7/2 - 4/1 i will be all over it.
Ninetieth Minute represents a slight danger to the top 2 so is worth a mention but i feel myself he is in decline.

All in all i think if Foundry Square can be got at 7/2ish he will represent a decent bet.

I have taken 10/11 on Bold Addition in the hunter chase. For me it's much better than anything else out there and I am not too considered about the extra weight it carries as the sxcellent William biddick is onboard. Can't have the second favourite as Stevie Flook has been in pretty poor form over the last year.

Also plumped for Island Legend at 13/2 in the way 3:10. Gregori the justified favourite but island legend would be more than justified to throw up a shock considering it's down to a much lower mar these days.

The owner told me on Sunday that he expects Ninetieth Minute to go very close in the hunter chase. Personally I think the favourite will be hard to beat so may be worth betting without or covering with the forecast.

Took the 4/1 on foundry square had a decent ew bet on him. I really think he could make his presence felt in this sphere.

Wishful thinking on getting 9/10 dawalaan. A general 4/7 shot everywhere.

Dawalan would want to be very smart to give Prince Khurram 7lbs.9/2 about McCains looks large as he is very well bred and will go on the ground.New 1.40 Blake Dean 13/8 looks head /shoulders above these and very surprised to see he is 13/8 should be 1/1.He has gone up in the weights but the 7lb the young boys takes off will be a major plus, cannot see this beaten bar a fall.

Nearly took the 8/11 888 put up but stuck to my guns on the price i wanted.
    Nice performance all the same.

He jumped very slick. Made an awful shape at the last (no shape at all) but a very nice round of jumping. Jesus it was run at a crawl though

Ya he was quite novicey at the last alright. And he hung a bit but as i thought the flat recruits werent geared up for it fto. Added to that Ivanhoe who was 3rd fav this morning won 1 of the worst races of the year and was chucked into the deep end here.

Well he did that quite nicely from what i was told(didnt see it). Well backed to. I suspect Bold Addition wasnt right as he definitely should have at least completed the forecast on known form.
Hope a few got on anyway.
