Probably the wrong section but this a mystery. This is really weird last month my dog had a stroke. We rushed him to the vet that night and he was there for a few days. Thankfully he recovered very fast and is like a whole new dog its like he is getting younger every day. Anyway he lost most of his teeth to gingivitis years ago but the past two weeks he is growing two new teeth yes two new teeth. Dogs like humans can only grow two sets of teeth, milk and adult teeth and he lost both over the years.

    Any explanation?

Moved from Mysteries of the Unexplained to Animals & Pet Issues

I'm sure there's a rational explanation, & probably not related to anything truly mysterious :o

    Wow - that's amazing!!!

I was googling alabhama rot ( dog) in the New Forest & following the links to the specialist vets that were investigating it - maybe they might be interested & able to provide a suggestion? they were weighing a medical paper on that - seemed like the kind of vet I'd want on my side. They had email links embedded in all their articlesasking people. & vets to get in contact with them.
