Best Foreign Language Series

    I've recently been watching Lilyhammer on Netflix and it's got me interested in watching some other foreign language shows.

    I've heard bits and pieces about some but would like some recommendations also.

    Is Lillyhammer actually Foreign Language, or are just some scenes subtitled?

    "Forbrydelsen" is very enjoyable.

    I've been hearing good things about "Spiral", as well. Will get to it soon. (It's on Netflix).

    The Returned(French) is spooky and Inspector Montalbano (Italian) is nice and easy viewing.

    I found "Lilyhammer" and "Spiral" pretty terrible myself.

    1st series of "The Bridge", what's been shown of the second series of "The Bridge", "Forbrydelsen" and "The Returned" all quality.

    Epitafios - Argentinian cop/serial killer series. It has the most incompetent police you've ever seen and the bad guy hams it up big style but it's a lot of fun.

    Engrenages/Spiral's first season was awful, I thought, but it improved tenfold over the next couple of years.

    Although a mini-series, Our Mothers, Our Fathers is amazing. About 5 german friends during ww2.
