    Hi All,
Thinking about buying a 13 inch Macbookair 256.
I have a couple of questions about same.
Can you install flash player on it, this is the one thing I hate about my I pad.
If people send me word and excel docs will pages read them and if I send them will my docs be read.

    Many thanks

Yes you can install flash, if you really must do.

Word and Excel will open in Pages and Numbers respectively, but there will be some compatibility issues for example some graphs may not show or some fonts might look ugly and vice versa going from .doc/.xls saved in Pages/Numbers being opened in Word/Excel.

You're best bet is to buy Microsoft Office for OS X if you're doing anything serious with office.

Don't look back the Macbook Air is the best laptop you can buy out there at the moment!

You can do pretty much anything you can do on Windows on it - including running Windows!

Except if you're going to run Windows, you might as well just get a Windows laptop.

Technically no such thing, as an Apple is also a Windows Laptop if you take it as HP is a windows or Dell.

Also the fastest "Windows Computer" apparently is a Mac

Wait until the fans are running full tilt, and the CPUs are at 100%, the battery is draining faster than Irish Water's budget and then you'll see why they didn't put flash support on the iOS devices.

Are you in a habit of linking to 5 yr old articles.

They really went to a big effort with that article lol
...compared its scores against category averages...

They might as well said we compared it with "stuff"

It was the only article that seemed any bit relevant, so yes 5 year old article or not its still worth a mention and addition to this thread.

Makes no sense to me. Anyway heres another one. Using a SSD kinda unbalances it.
