In my local drinagh they have Polish Coal, House Coal and Stove fuel.

We are renting and I have a smallish stove, it can fit a couple medium size logs of wood. My parents had an open fire say 10 years ago but since then I have no clue.

The prices in my area are:
    Polish Coal €17
    House Coal €12.95
    Stove Fuel (35kg) €17.95

What is the difference between these 3 types of fuel? What is more efficient for heat. There was a lil bag of this compacted dust? It glowed red but no heat from it.

Thank you for anyone who replies!

Get your hands on some well seasoned hardwood and anthracite and you be flying then.;)
