Bathroom

I live an old corporation house built in 1950s old ballyfermot.

My bathroom is downstairs which can be really awkward.

I would love a bathroom upstairs, I have three bedrooms.

I was thinking of attic conversation and putting a bathroom in box room or making the big bedroom smaller.

    I would welcome any suggestions

How many people will be living in the house? What ages? What is the scope for having an extension at the rear? What sizes are the rooms?

Attic conversion would need planning permission and fire safety improvements.

You should try to have at least a toilet or shower room downstairs.

Thanks for the reply I have a small extension to rear of house with shower, toilet, sink but very close to kitchen.

Would really love bathroom upstairs. There is myself husband and 2 boys.

I would have to measure rooms.

It is very hard to know what to do with these old style houses.
