Hi, I'm bestman & trying to organize a stag for next June. We've had stags in all main places around, we're thinking it's time to now take the pose (30 fellas) abroad, thinking possibly Liverpool or Newcastle.
Has anyone any tips or experience

Have been on stags in both liverpool and Newcastle. IMO liverpool wins hands down. We didn't do anything but drink for the weekend but have never had a bad time in liverpool.

book apartments if possible for the weekend.
Works out much cheaper, and much craic can be had drinking before heading out etc... and even getting in food beforehand if that's what ya want.

+1 getting apartments works out way cheaper.

Also if its such a large group goes without saying split up into small groups when your out and about because a group of 30 guys will find it hard to get into a lot of bars and clubs.

Agreed. Also allows you to all pack into one apartment for drinking. Found the apartments above the Tescos Express (Liverpool) to be very good.

Thanks lads, I'll look into Liverpool.
    Did you do any activities?

Went to the Darts the 1st night (McCoy’s Premier League Darts) followed by some live music in one of the pubs*, and then on the 2nd night, went to various pubs and nightclubs. Found a nightclub called the "Krazy House" which had rock/metal on the 1st floor, indie music on the 2nd floor, and dance music on the 3rd floor, with "chill out areas" on 1.5 floor and 2.5 floor. Age is 18-25 students.

*There's a street that has a load of pubs with all live acts.

During the day on the 2nd day, we did some crazy golf. There's also a bar there, so you can start drinking there, whilst golfing. There are two 18 hole courses, so if you split up, you can do both easier.

There's an Irish pub down the street from the Krazy House that does awesome hangover food.

My fella is heading to Liverpool in a couple of weeks for his, staying in apartments in Duke St and going to the races on the Saturday as an activity. 30ish of them staying 2 nites. They have been over before to matches and to be honest I think that's what he'd prefer to be doing but the races is more sociable plus you don't need to have a huge interest to enjoy it (I know my brothers have no interest in soccer and would just go to the pub for the day if that was the plan)
A group of ten of us went last yr for my sister's hen, no activities bar drinking and shopping, and really enjoyed it. No bother getting in places because they're geared towards hens & stags but then again they were only 10 of us & women ...
Would also recommend Meet Argentinian restaurant for massive steaks to set u up for the night!
