    This might be an odd request but has anyone any idea of a good place to find people in a similar position looking for a room in an apartment that can get in contact with each other?

    To me it seems all the best places out their are being rented out as one unit rather than on a room by room basis meaning that I would have to sub-let which is not a guarantee meaning you could be stuck with paying all the rent. Looking at properties in and around Cork City but don't know anyone in the same position as me looking for a place.

    There must be a website or something that you could just type in the area and the price you're willing to pay, no?

    Yeah I have, the thing is the quality of the places doesn't seem to be great. That's why I'm looking a places to let, many seem to be better value for money IF you can get someone else into your other room. It also makes it easier as it's a new place for both parties putting everyone on an even footing. I hate moving into places someone else has been renting for years in the back of my head it just makes me feel like I have less rights to the place ridiculous as that is.
