Hi I'm wondering about rough estimates for building materials for a 7ft x 28ft extension? It's mainly just to widen two bedrooms. The house is about 30 years old and it's important to note that I will take up most of the labour as I have expierence at block laying. Electrical can be covered by a family member, uncles with building expierence will advice me along the way. The plumbing doesn't need to be touched so it's just the cost of joists and rafters and rendering for the extension and the other finishing touches. A rough estimate without the inclusion of labour please for anyone that might know?
