Paul Reynolds dodgy Italian accent on News at One today!

On the RTÉ News at One report today I thought I'd heard Paul Reynolds attempting to imitate the accent of the Italian guy accused of the murder in Castleknock at the week-end. WTF! I didn't hear it like that. I got the impression that Reynolds was trying to quote the accused, and reproduce a speech mannerism indicative of uncertainty (or something like that). "I-i-is there a question here?"

It wasn't a good idea.
