I am after a Chorus or Record 10 speed short cage rear mech

The Chorus 10 speed mech also came in all aluminium instead of carbon and that would also be wanted.

The main ones available in Record and Chorus have a carbon body so either would be perfect.

VERY IMPORTANT; Must be in excellent condition!

To be honest what happened was that I purchased a Chorus rear mech and the limit screws were seized. The mech was in super condition but for some unusual reason they were jammed. I tried drilling them out but they were properly stuck. I even tried an easy out with no luck! I drilled all the way through on one and unfortunately drilled a little into the carbon thread. I am reluctant to use a helicoil due to limited access so I am really after just the main body of the mech. If I have to purchase the entire mech that is also ok.

I am pretty sure you can buy the outer carbon part but it is (in true campag tradition ) expensive.
Drop Velotec in the UK a line and they may be able to help, Graeme from there sometimes posts on here and is very helpful.

velotec are excellent people...but be warned ...it will cost you.
i got a super record mech fixed as a replacement is circa €285..
cost me nearly 30% of that to have the repair done and it was as new & for the price was a great saving
but you should be able to find a chorus mech on flea bay for the same price as a repair..

Graeme wrote that he will be able to sort it out. If for whatever reason he cannot sort it out I will simply purchase a Record one from eBay UK. Thanks for all the help.
