My family got me a Peugeot 206 LX car, year 2000, for xmas. It has been sitting in my drive for the last few weeks while i get the tax and insurance sorted. I have been starting it every day so it wouldnt seize up but im very low in petrol. So got some to put in her but when i went to turn the key in the fuel flap, it wont turn. Ive tried WD-40, no joy and boiling water but it wont budge.
Any suggestions? Really dont know what else i can do, please help!!! :(

Are you sure its the correct key your using...is there a second key on the keyring.?
If there was an ignition barrel changed at some stage then there maybe another key needed for the fuel cap.

No theres no other key. It starts the car fine. It fits the keyhole in the fuel flap but just wont turn.

Get the wd40 right into it with the straw..give it a little time to work its magic..Giggle the key around it will eventually open..dont panic..dont force it..be patient :)

Were you ever able to open the fuel flap? With that key?
But yeah, spray it liberally with WD40.

This is my first time filling it up, dont know when it was last filled up by last owner. It like the lock is jammed, ive tried loads of WD40, nearly a full can and still no joy :(

In that case it's not stuck/rusted. Perhaps the lock was changed and it's another key for it? Can you check with seller?

This is what it looks like yeah?

Hey all, problem solved! My brother finally got in contact with previous owner and they said put the key halfway in and turn and it worked! Thanks for all the comments and help :)
