Bar Supervisor Question

    Hi guys

I'm 29 and have been working in bars since I was 14, so all in all I have over 10 years experience as a bartender/cocktail bartender in some of Dublins biggest bars, clubs and live music venues.

Long story short I have never had any urge to be a manager or supervisor but have recently been offered a supervisor role on matchdays in a well known stadium.

I'm kind of nervous as I'm not used to giving orders or having that level of responsibility so just wondering if anyone had any tips or advice? :)

    Thanks!

Yes, just go for it! Opportunity doesn't come knocking too often so grab it if that's what you want to do.
Giving orders (instructions) will come naturally...

What do you want to do with your life? If you still want to be pulling pints yourself when you're 40, then pass it up. If you could do better, and don't have plans to move to any other industry, then why not?

Best advice I can give is for you to back yourself. You said yourself you know the business and have loads of experience, obviously they think this too.
