Parking Ticket query

    Not sure if this is the correct forum.

    I got a parking ticket on Saturday afternoon (deserved as it was Pay and Display and I hadn't noticed or checked). I am trying to pay it online and it gives me an error saying "There is no PCN with this reference associated with this vehicle."

    It also says on the website "Sorry we have not been able to find your PCN. This may be because you have entered your details incorrectly or because your PCN may not yet have been entered into our system. Please leave at least 24 hours from the time of your PCN before you attempt to pay."

    On the ticket itself I can only see a Reference Number and my car reg. I am assuming the Reference Number is the PCN number required by the website.

    The ticket was issued around 4pm on Saturday afternoon. Is it likely their system still isn't up to date or something? How long usually do you need to wait to be able to pay these? I'd like to get this thing paid as soon as I can so I can forget about it.

    They probably update from the weekend in batch today. Try later/tomorrow.
