Just wondering if anybody has managed to have their Irish No Claims Bonus recognised by an Australian Insurance Company? About to start looking at buying a car and checking to see what other people's experiences have been.

And if you've been out of Ireland for 2 years then you lose your Irish no claims bonus too.

Don't know if this helps or not but i got my Australian no claim bonus recognised by insurers in Ireland. Your insurance company should be able to give you a certificate stating how many years you have and it is worth a try.
