    Don't know if anyone has used Pcfritz lately but windows is cheaper there still. I got mine off there last year when the price was much lower and i've had no issues. Would bring you under 600 with that change alone. could maybe scrape €5 off the dvd drive too i think the cheapest would do.

    Really similar to what i built for my younger brother. Overclocked his 7850 over christmas and got over 1050mhz core out of it! Was running far cry 3 on very high at 1080p ~60fps. Pretty impressive for a €600 machine i'm sure he'll be happy.

    Cheers for the input man, can you tell me how long delivery took from pcfritz?
    I was looking at there the other day, was just theres conflicting reports about the site.

    The lite on drive for €14 is constantly out of stock, ill make sure to check again when ordering.

    Delighted to hear your getting that sort of frame rate with a similar system.

    It arrived inside a week. 5-6 days if i remember correctly. I'm not sure how much delivery costs at the moment. Was €15 when i got it and the os was €20! Think it's worthy considering anyway it's a nice saving. Noticed the prices for windows on amazon went very high also.

    Definitely no point in delaying an order for €5 i'd stick where you are.

    Far cry 3 is the only game he's really had to turn off ultra for. Everything else he's very happily playing on ultra ~50-60 fps.

    Have you used geizhals also? Surely that and the os will get you under €600!

    Went with windows from hwvs as the young lads father decided he eould pay the extra just to get the parts ordered:( People these days have no patience!!

    Although I may just do the build up again in the morning and order windows from pcfritz as mobo is out of stock now anyway, thanks for the heads up on delivery time from them, 5-6 days is very acceptable and with the board being out of stock it'll probably get here first!!

    Build with windows from hwvs total was €614

    And going with windows from pcfritz would be €588 for the lot,

    Just hope the silicon lottery is kind with the 7850 and can get a decent overclock on it and be laughing:)
