I have had a scandisc sansa fuse for a few years and use it for recording night time radio for listening to the next day, sadly its on the blink and unable to buy a new one anymore,,,is there anything decent around to do the same job with good memory capacity,,the sansa has 4gb and micro sd slot to add more.
    thanks in advance.

The newer fuze is criticized mainly for the awkward buttons and interface.

The Sansa Zip or the older clip has fm recording. Gets good reviews. The Zip has the same charger as mobile phone.
It has fm recording, but theres no timed recordings.

You can probably get the radio program as a podcast either. I think some Sonys Walkman do FM recording, but only some, so I'd check that out before going that route. Some mobile phones do FM recording too.

I assume they switched to the touch buttons over the wheel due to reduce costs. The Fuze gets mentioned a bit on Head Fi.
